So, since I've had my 6J it's had a TPMS error. I only knew this from my Carista code reader as someone had coded the warning lamp to stay off following an MOT failure before I had the car. The button on the center console also didn't seem to do anything, I presumed the module was broken. Error codes have always shown 6 ABS faults, though the ABS works, linked to the TPMS system, clear them and they came straight back. Code the lamp on and it remained lit, indicating a TPMS error.

Over the last week I've,

Installed front and rear footwell lights, Bluetooth controlled LED's powered through the dome light.

I've fixed my recirculation flap motor, it had pushed its housing apart and no longer engaged the gears, I zip tied it together and now it works like a dream.

I've also removed a telematics device that has been on the car since I got it, I find it odd that someone would use a 6J as a fleet vehicle but it was there. It was drawing power from the headlight switch so I cut it off, made sure everything still worked and thought no more about it.

Cut to last night and finally putting my interior back together, I went to remove the airbag warning light, I must have turned the key when the glove box was out.

Plugged Carista in and scanned for errors, and the usual ABS warnings had dropped from 6 to 2, pressed clear and they remained cleared! Coded the TPMS warning lamp back on and it disappeared from the dash after initially coming on! The TPMS button now actually works.

No idea how but it's fixed.

The footwell lights look great by the way
