Towbar for FR TDi

Ok done the search, so has anyone fitted one and if so how much, and what does it look like, photo(s) if poss. Local guy at a trailer centre says its possible with a adaptor kit from Seat + and kit for the electrics.

Anyone had one fitted yet...? I'll need one before Easter 08 so I can drag the 'van around and hold everyone up... Plus I've not told the missus yet that I've ordered 'my' FR and if I can't get a towbar for it she'll kill me! Can't see her Yaris pulling our caravan

Going to contact Witter and see what they say - can't believe they haven't got it sussed. Have checked on their website and nothing mentioned under the Leon Mk 2 about not suitable for the FR

binks do a tow bar that fits the leon fr also the dealer say that there bar will fit the fr

Brink do a detachable towbar that fits the new Leon FR. A slot has to be cut into the bumper and there is a cover which is supplied to fill it when the towbar is detached. The price is about £350 to £400 fully fitted depending upon which electrics you get (7pin or 13 pin).

I have an e-mail from Brink with a photo of a Leon FR with a Brink towbar fitted. Will post it, when and if I figure out how to do it!

I have just ordered a new Leon FR (Candy White) from local dealer with a detachable Brink towbar to be fitted. Just hope that the end result is as neat as the Brink detachable fitted to my mark 1 Leon Cupra tdi.
