Tow Bar

Hi. I am new to the forums and was wondering if anyone has managed to fit a tow bar to a MK2 Leon FR Diesel? The only company stating that they have one that fits is westfalia and that only fits the FR and not the FRV (whatever that is).

Can anyone help? I need to fit a bike trailer for track days.

Hi Mike

I dont know if this helps but my dad and I fitted one to my moms Leon TDi DSG. The kit stated that it would fit this and the FR model so i beleive they are the same. The one that fits an FR can fit any Leon as far as i beleive. Our kit is from a company called THULE. Here is a link to some pics:

I think I can help you with this one as I got one for the same reason (or very similar).... tow bar mounted bike rack.

I just went in to a local fitting place and quoted that tow bar, they said it was on the system as compatible for the Fr so they could do it.
