Basically i had my coilovers fitted a few months ago now and then a week later went to the same gararge to sort somthing else out and when one the the guys who did the work drove the car he notised a pull to the left under hard acceleration.

We thought where the coilovers had settled it had put the aliment out, but i had that checked out and its fine.

I dont remember having torque steer when i first got the car, so does anyone have torque steer? if not any suggestons wot it could be?

Dont have any torque steer at all on mine but mines standard, really suprised there isnt any on these cars as the power is pretty extreme on take off. launched in sport the other day and wow it was fun.

could possibly be a spring not seated correctly? measure each side of the wings to the ground and see if they match. could be mount not seated correctly, im not very familiar with the suspension on this car but if both suspension struts are sitting at different levels in the hub it may affect it also. Not saying it is these but simply test with tape measure to check ride hide would be good start. they were brand new and not 2nd hand were they? that will rule out blown shock.

but hey i forgot the most basic thing.... go check your tyre pressures, that can affect it dramatically. also have you got more tread on one tyre?

The coilovers would have changed the suspension geometry somewhat creating the increased torque steer. Possibly an indication that the dampening is not stiff enough or bushes are not upto the job due to the increased stresses. Basic trouble shooting and adjustments should eliminate it but having it there won't really do any real damage.

i also got some torque steer not really hard. i only notice it if you grip the wheel lose just a gentle pull to the left. nothing to worry about
