sos for the newbie ish question but there is no info about this....anyway, has anyone got any rolling road results of a custom coded stage 2 LCR?....only asking because im planning an upgrade shortly but looking on the custom code website they quote 275-285 lbs ft of torque...

just after a look at the torque curve, hopefully it will be nice and flat, but hoping for a good figure also......

i will get the front mount and exhaust on the same day as the map, plus i have at the moment

N249 bypass
BMC
derestricted charge pipe
forge tip and pipes

if anyone has has the above mods, then that will be even better....

can anyone help?

Modded airbox ;)

A stage 2 map should produce more than 275-285lb-ft of torque, My AmD's got 295lb-ft on a stage 1 and Jamjay has got 299lb-ft

As Rockey says get rid of the BMC mate.
Theres a thread somewhere where J@mes did some logs with a modded airbox and the gain's were very good.

thing is darren, the custom code map isnt as aggressive as REVO or AmD's map, its more progressive...doesnt have to be hugely high, just a good spread across the whole range....

ive asked JBS and they can only give quoted figures, but im after black and white proof....etc etc

when I went there they had a folder full of previous RR results they must have a digital copy of these somewhere

...and I love it :D.

AMD & REVO seem to produce some very good torque figures but I have read that CC loses some of it to help it be more progressive. Not too sure how true that is mind but would you consider an AMD map? I wouldn't consider AMD to be undriveable daily at all, very sedate until you put your foot down, then it's time to wake up and hang on. Saying that, I need a better DBM to prevent my wrists from snapping soon.

well i have found with CC that the boost pulls well into the redline which is cool, but im thinking i may want a more aggresive map, but the side effect of that is a clutch that wont last as long etc....tbh my map can still be aggressive...floor it from first, then second i can get wheel spin for a good 2-3 seconds straight through to third- its pretty cool...

Noooo, no cluth issues. If you drive it like a 'tard all the time and slip the cr@p out of it then it'll fade faster, otherwise I can't see it lasting any less than CC or perhaps OEM.

I have a THS TIP, Forge 007 DV, Neuspeed P-FLO & custom air feed. I think that's it you know but it has been dyno'd twice and got the same results near enough so I won't argue. BHP is at about 255 so all in all, not bad for what 'was' a 210 model. I do want to go stage 2 though and wouldn't mind seeing it nearer 280bhp to be honest, however I think torque is more important and I want to tip it a bit over 300lb/ft I guess and try to get it on the floor.

Perhaps read into AMD maps as they might be able to offer what you are looking for. I have no experience of any other maps of course but Jabba & P-Torque were also on my short list and sounded good but too far up North.

Your avatar says you're near London...or is that Luton? I am confused :D. If you're around the South London/Surrey area at some point, you're welcome to try mine before you buy.
