60 in 6secs.

GPS 156mph (Speedo way off clock, probably approaching where 170 would be if it was marked)

I do have nitrous to help top end though so it does get there fairly quickly. Normal remapped R is probably around 152mph GPS (160-162 on clocks)

I actually did test it on an airstrip a while back. Yes i mean airstrip and not the M1 :D

on a serious note, top speed high 150s and 100kmh in VERY high 5s at a push

0-60 isnt a great comparison for cars tho... 1/4 mile times are better!

Yes getting it soon buddy. Seat Car Club are doing a blueflame groupbuy and should get 3'' downpipe/100cel cat for around £300.

The top speed question has already been answered in this thread!

And I hope you haven't been doing more than 70 on the A14

Firstly a number of questions

1. Mitchy how does ur LCR take to snorting N2O and what setup are you running

2. Had my std LCR flat at 155 and my mate was catching me in his modded Ibiza Cupra:(

3. Not really done a 0-60 time as like James says 1/4 times much better

4. James is that your car that does 0-60 in low 5s and top speed high 150s what have you had done to get 0-60 time as low as that mate if you dont mind sharing

Thats not GPS, its the ECU figure. Much more accurate than the speedo but not as accurate as GPS.

I'd also say that taking 110 to be a truer figure for 60, that's way under 5.9 in the vid.

+ What an idiot doing those kind of speeds, filming with one hand and with worn out brakes!!

i was going to say something similar, doing those sort of speeds holding a camera isn't something i'd do........................... and i've done some pretty stupid stuff in the past too! at least you have some petrol in the tank for the second video. i've tried that trick with the air-con display but i found it was distracting me from looking at the road, seeing over 240 kmh and then realising i should be concentrating on the road ahead scared me a bit. i haven't used it since.

@CupraUK, i know that on the vid i capture the ECU figure..., but this number is roughly the same when i compared it to the GPS speed (the GPS speed is even 1km/h higher as the ECU figure).

My tolerance on 100km/h tacho is 3 km/h (on GPS 97km/h) and making 7000o/m my car will reach the real 100km/h speed in second gear.

You have to listen to the vid carefully as i start to give several short trottle responses before i actually start sprinting

The actual power figures are 245bhp and 360nm. The standard engine is a 180bhp AUQ.

I have no problem doing these kind of speeds and filming at the same time in the right circumstances. I was filming this in Germany on a 3 way highway with praktically no traffic on the road..., no problemo for me :)

by the way 60 miles per hour is 96,6km/h

I'm sure that no one has problems driving with one hand at 152mph... its when something happens or goes wrong that there is a problem.

If you think its safe then fair play to you.

I didn't play it with sound, I'll have a listen now, although I was not being arguementative, I was saying that it was faster than you said!

Ok i see..., sorry for that misunderstanding on my site

The circumstances were perfect that Sundaymorning..., 6 degrees, new tyres, almost no fuel, no spare tyre and tools..., me with no clothes on (less weight) :funk:

Here i'am racing a chipped and full exhaust subaru with 280bhp...

In this race a could turn the disadvantage (about 1 carlengt) from the Seats 2WD around to get even with him on the end.
