Found THIS and filled in what i knew and blanked out the other boxes.....

Redline RPM - 6500
5th Gear Ratio - 0.84
Final Drive Ratio - 3.39
Tyre Size - 205/40/R17

It came up with 159mph for my top speed. I'm assuming my input info was right? Does this mean in theory that the car would be capable of that speed if it had a long enough stretch of road? Or is there something that is likely to restrict the car in any way, ie; small turbo etc?

think top speed is affected by wind resistance more than anything else

mind u i have doubts that with the k03 an ibiza could get near that figure really, iv seen around 140ish once or twice, but never anymore although there was some left in it

ofcourse this would have been less in reality than the clock reading

my leon had a rr'd top end of 169.9mph with a redline of around 7k so id say that wasnt far off, itll never ever hit that though unless im running 400bhp +

If you have the power to get to the redline in the first place.
Madmile ran 160odd at brunters, I dont think he was at the redline either.
Bill has a sheet, if you can get it to limit in 5th on the 02j then 170 (indicated) should be achievable

Unless the top speed limiter has been removed from the ecu you wont be able to go above 159 MPH. You should be able to achieve that figure with about 220BHP tho and a long enuff straight.
