Too much wheel spin

I have the Cupra Leon Hybrid and noticed that when pulling out of junctions quickly the front tyres spin far too much and don’t seem to be able to grip and the traction light comes on.

ive got the Goodyear eagle 235/35R19 which are quite low profile any one else having this issue or am I just to heavy footed?

Had a four wheel drive Ateca before and this wasn’t an issue I’m guessing it’s because it’s front wheel drive.

Throttle control also reduces wheel spin.
Too much initial acceleration will spin the front wheels in my MKIII 1.4TSi (150) FR, especially if turning at the same time (eg turning right out of a junction).
A little initial restraint eliminates any wheel spin.

Even trying to pull out of a junction up a small incline produced wheel spin. I don’t think I’m that heavy footed.

probably not used to the front wheel drive over 4wheel previously.

Anyone That wants performance or launch drag don't run budget tires because your going to be there , if your looking for performances it starts on tires, cheap tires stays there spinning and going nowhere.
The 0/60 timed placed on sports cars are not with budget or midrange tires for sure.

Goodyear Eagles are a good tyre
Unfortunately you are just experiencing the drawbacks of FWD.

I can even spin the front wheels in my lowly diesel.

unfortunately FWD will never be for a traffic light grand prix.

Ive a Mk3 cupra 280 remapped to 350bhp wheel spin is bit of an issue even with michelin ps4 it's all about throttle control just don't try flatten it you won't need to I can do 0-120kmph in 4 seconds with no wheel spin at all but if you flatten it traction control kicks in and will mess up your launch....
