Hi Folks,

Been reading the forums and it looks like I have to buy an additional £30 mount from the parts department to slot my tom tom one v3 but the salesperson tells me it should just slot in the Seats £34 option I have ordered with the car.

The parts person told me he has no information & to wait for the delivery of the car to see if my sat nav just plugs in or I'll need to buy an additional part.:help:

Contacted Seat customer services but they just refer me back to my dealer.

Anyone recently got delivery of the mk5 Ibiza with the tom tom option?
Did your satnav plug in or did you have to buy an additional part?
if you needed the add. part how long did you have to wait for it?

Hi jamjar,

Also my first post on here.

I had the docking option which is for the dashboard socket and wiring.

You have to buy an adapter to fit into the socket which your V3 will fit on. It was in stock at the dealers when I got mine.

Only problem is if you have TomTom traffic as you can't fit the wire in the TomTom.

The idea is to manufacture more and more adapters to suit various sat navs.

Hope this helps

Many thanks for this info
I'll check with the dealers of the stock situation for the adapter & if not readily available, I'll pre order I guess.

P.S How long did you have to wait for your car from the point of ordering to delivery?

We had to wait 10 weeks as we had some options - climate control, Tom Tom, Design pack, etc.

Worth waiting for though - no complaints at all.
