I own a 2001 toledo tdi 110 94000 miles, I recently had the engine remapped .
Before remap the bhp was 114 bhp torque 194lbft @2437. After 140bhp torque 237lbft@2537rpm. Unfortunately @1700 to 2100rpm there is a vibration through the car in forth or fifth when exccelerating hard under load. The engine was de tuned to 137bhp@3946 and 224@lbft 2591rpm this helped but there is still a vibration.

The chap that remapped the engine though it might be the extra torque @ the flywheel(does my car have a Dual Mass Flywheel ?).Other people say it is the camshaft.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? The remap of the engine and along with EIBACH / PRO KIT SPRINGS has transformed the car.
I do not want to go back to the standard map. :help:

thanks sym

I did the same to my 110 leon and that vibrated. When i had a gearbox repair done i replaced the dmf and the vibration was still there. Think problem is more to do with fuelling.

Sounds like too much injection causing this, i had one in yesterday that was already mapped by someone but smoked alot and had the same problems, the car was making 137hp and 225lbft i think but now it's running 160hp and 260lbft with little smoke!
