Toledo exhaust the same as VW Jetta?

I've spotted an after market Jetta exhaust system for sale and from the pics it looks very similar
to the standard system on my car.

Can anyone confirm weather they are interchangable?

By jetta i prusume you mean bora ??

Yes the fitments are very similar BUT the placement of the backbox may not be ideal due to the shape of the rear bumper

i tried it i had one on my bora and tried lining it up on my tolly when i was have a full sytem on bora instead and it would have possibly done the job but i was alittle worried over were it touched the bumper (mite just be me been over fussy)

BUT im not saying all makes would be the same

No I mean the Jetta as in Mk2 golf shape.

My Toledo is a '97 and is based on the Jetta's chassis.

Found out it does fit. I'll be the proud owner of a cheap as chips Jetex system as of monday.

I'm looking to increase the performance of my 2.0 16V (1996), did you have any luck Rico? If so, any pics and descriptions of what you bought, costing etc?

It didn't fit mine cos its an 8v. The exhaust I bought was for a 16v so the bore was too big.

Its a Jetex back box with twin tail pipes and it cost me about £40 (second hand)

For sale if anyone wants it!

Bah, re-read this post and didn't realise you were selling it.

Can you take some pics, and can you confirm it'll be compatible with a 16V 2.0 Toledo? It's the ABF block.

Also, where are you located?

It would fit the 16v but I've just sold it 2 days ago buddy. Sorry.

I bought it second hand from a guy on another forum and I put it up for sale as soon as I realised it didn't fit.
