to fit the k03s or not?

Ive done sooo much reading on the forums..

some threads praise the k03s
and other... Dont.. lol


Basically Im fitting a FMIC to my stage 1 K03 next



I have the k03s sitting in my bedroom.

was thinking of getting all the TIP+downpipe before christmas and getting it fitted early jan....



But im not sure after people saying its not worth the difference and it wont be much quicker than mine as it is now


opinions etc



P.S IT WOULD BE RAN ON MY CURRENT MAP FOR THE TIME BEING

if youve got the ko3s fit it, you will notice the difference along with your other bits,

But I need to buy a downpipe and a Turbo intake pipe dont i?
plus it needs to be remapped so its going to cost alot!


remap will be 400ish
T.I.P 90ish
down pipe 150ish

so its gonna cost

Would be worth it mate Might cost a bit with all the other parts but id say worth it

i have ko3s on my leon it is a good robust turbo mate and from you have if you spend a little you'll love the results just wait and see if bits come up on here a tip you can get fro about 60 second hand a down pipe bout 120 or so and yes mapping to but you will love it im going up now and getting rid of ko3s but only cos im a bit sad lol

How will it run if I just fit the downpipe / TIP and turbo?

and then remap it in a month or two?

I would think so.. Mine was for about 6 months lol.. Even managed 185bhp at a rolling road with the standard cupra map!

I wouldnt try full on racing people till its mapped up though just incase

I have a stage 1 map though so it would run bit better than yours did right?

it should be ok you wont blow anything it will just run rich and maybe not run full potential

yeah would run better than mine with the stage 1 map.. Think quite a few people run it like that till all the mods are on
