hi everyone,
looking for bit of advice .i have my leon about 9 months now and have added a few bits and pieces and while i am very happy with her and am planning to get more done i have spotted an 06 2.0 tdi sport for sale with about the same mileage as mine about 20.k,she has sunroof ,full btcc body kit 18 alloys and all the usual bits .the price of cars over here is crazy (ireland) they are looking for 25.500 euros and while i could stretch to that and am wondering is it worth it mine is 1.6 and while i find the engine eager enough cant help but want a bit more power
any thoughts?

Take it for a test drive. You will then probably do what most do, sign as quick as possible and wait impatiently. Then you will drive it within an inch of it's life while getting good fuel economy :)

The 140 bhp Tdi is a great car, plenty of pull in all gears and averaging about50mpg you can't grumble. The btcc kit looks great IMO and quite a few others. Price seems quite a lot, but as you said prices are high in Ireland. Your choice completely, enjoy making your mind up,

It's probably worth noting that I did change from a 1.6 petrol (115bhp) Focus to the 2.0TDI. The difference is very noticable as Tony says. Just remember, it's a diesel, ride the torque, no need to chase the revs!
