having a slight problem with the scorpion alarm fitted on my cupra r! at first when i locked it it would bleep 4 times when it usually only beeps twice, and a couple of times after the four beeps it would keep on beeping with about a 2 second gap in between beeps!anybody any idea what this could be?

It might be the same as my Toad Alarm -- it beeps 4 times when one of the doors/boot is not closed properly.

My toad also beeps 4 times when you next open it if the alarm has gone off at some point.

Yeah it is usually symptomatic of a tamper or insecure zone. if the doors and boot are closed, check the switch under the bonnet, they are usually the ones that go first. mines just broke. only about £2 to replace though.

its the same as the toad/clifford alarms.

4 Beeps is a door/bonnet/boot open. Check everything is closed properly and if it still does it you know tha alrm is playing up.
