Hi all,

getting my ko3s fitted next week and then off to CC to get it remapped a week after. Just want to know if i should by a 4bar fpr or not? Is it something the mapping company will let you know or should i buy one and get the garage to just stick it one once the turbo is on and running? I only ask because some cars dont seem to need the 4bar whilst some do. Also how safe is it to drive without the 4bar on? Going to have to drive 50miles to get it mapped

Anyone help clear this up?

Give em a call & ask them?

If it needs a 4 bar, take it with you & fit it there - it's a 2 min job

thanks, i'll give them a ring and see what they say. Wanted to know though what determines if the car needs one or not? Is it down to the mods you have and how it runs? Or the condition of the engine or anything like that? I just thought it was a given that a slightly bigger turbo will need more fuel to run and therefore need te 4bar. Not a clue though

mine didnt have 4 bar on with a CC phase 2, all depends on the tuner though, like mork said ring and ask

Spoke to C-C and they said they map the stage 2 to run without the 4bar as it is not really needed. So guess thats 50 odd quid i can save and put towards the map! KO3s going on this monday coming, Forge FMIC going on next sunday fingers crossed and then the reamp last of all on the 19th Jan!

Cant wait!
