Hey guys, I currently own a PD160 6L Cupra Ibiza and was just wondering, would 235/45/17 tires on stock alloys rub on the front? I'm only asking as I got the tires for free (Toyo T1-Rs) and the tires on the front are okay (they're going on the back) and the ones on the back are totally dead, don't hold air worth a s**t so need to be changed.

The car currently has 205/40/17s on, I have had 225/45/17 on the rear and I had 0 rub at all from the back, fully loaded, about 250KG worth of tools in the boot of the car and it was lowered on Vogtland 35mm springs as well, no issues with rubbing on back, BUT they ain't going on back, they're going on the front..... if it rubs a minor amount on full lock, I don't mind, I can just throw some spacers on (5mm) and be sorted to hopefully stop the rubbing.

So in lame terms, can I go from 205/40/17 to 235/45/17 on front of a 6L Ibiza Cupra with 35mm lowering springs?
