Just bought an ibiza and want to do some tuing, looking at a forge tip, a powergasket (or equivalent) inlet gasket, induction kit, forge dv and a remap of some sort within the next month or so, nothing drastic.

I have seen this while browsing on e-bay, will this fit an ibiza? Does anybody use one, any gains to be seen?

I wouldnt bother mate, stick with the Forge one.

So that in effect is just a hard metal version of the silicon pipe forge sell?
I thought that was the hard turbo inlet pipe the forge tip went onto the end of?

If not wouldnt a metal pipe be more likley to resist being compressed under boost?

stick with the forge it wont compress not like a rubber hoses,

The metal bit is only the replacement for the standard metal bit....you retain the rest of the OEM TIP.

Ok, what i meant was is there a point in replacing the metal bit with the one for sale and does the forge tip push onto the end of the metal bit or replace it?

Can i use this metal pipe and the forge tip or are they the same/incompatible?

The Forge TIP replaces the metal bit and the hose all the way upto the MAF/Air Mass Meter.

I dont see any point getting the metal replacement.

Does the forge TIP fit easily? Unlike the samco TIP for the golf that needs modifying.
