Im thinking of buying a TIP for my 02 Leon Cupra,i was just wondering peoples opinion on which one is best to go for,and wether it is a worthwile mod.The car has been remapped by Jabba,so isnt standard.
Ive been looking at the Forge TIP,but wanted to know what others are on the market and wether any are better than others?

I went for forge, regardless of who you use its a pain in the ass if you cant get decent access above and below the engine.
(above to get it into place and below to actually fit the end onto the turbo and tighten it.)

Is it recommended i get it up on the ramp to change it then, rather than struggling on my drive?
Is there any noticeable difference with the car after changing?

Probably not any noticeable differenence but all will be running better and more efficiently then.

nicer spool up for sure - you will need axle stands to get in & under

it's better & easier to fit than the metal pipes by various people

the neuspeed metal intake only replaces the standard metal bit you then connect the standard ribbed rubber tip to it which means youre no better off

I've found mine to be reaching the red line more freely since the TIP upgrade, and the engine feels a bit, erm... how to describe this... less restricted. Not that it revs more freely, or even has any more power as such, it just feels "better".

YMMV.

I found that it runners right to the redline as the old pipe would begin to collapse at higher rev's....

Very good mod IMO.
