tip help!

ive bought the forge 1.8 t turbo intake pipe the other day and am now thinking it wont fit my new maf sensor which is a bigger 1 (3") and the tip wont fit over it ive foundthis 1 on the internet for the new turbo im getting does anybody know if it will fit my 3" maf???????????

i dont think it will has anybody got any ideas what will fit the gtrs garret turbo and the 3" maf ?????????????

how about cut ghe forge tip back then get a metal reducer to go from id of forge tip to the diameter of the new maf and just join with hose joiner should still lok neat and tidey

no, you need a 3" MAF to measure the air.... 2.5" maf will be maxed out

sorry didnt exsplain it properly ive got the 3" maf sesor and the 3" maf sensor housing and im buying the fr tdi or vrs airbox for the bigger 3" outlet

i might be wrong but mork is saying its the scaling for measruing the air not how restrictive it is for the turbo. so using the forge tip with modded end should be a solution

What will the other end of the tip be connecting to? K03's housing or K04 housing.
