TIP and MAF Question

Tried searching but no luck.Ok, ive cleaned my MAF with some electrics cleaner, dissasembled easy cleaned it (although it looked clean) but on the sensor i noticed that the 2 metal prongs sticking out didnt have anything between them, or is it supposed to be like that??

Also i noticed like a splash of oil in my TIP looks like it came from N75 valve Is this normal or is something wrong?

I would remove your TIP and have a goog look to try and ascertain extact where the oil is coming from as its being sucked into your turbo
You will have a little of oil in boost pipes especially at low points like intercooler but i thought hardly any pre turbo

engine light came on yesterday im guessing its a sensor problem need to get it VAG-COMMED.

ok i did an ecu reset (taking off battery for 10 mins) and now the fault light has gone off, does this mean the fault is a minor?
Also does anyone know if my maf is supposed to be like that in the first post ( cause i still dont know)

All i remember seeing on my old MAFs was a thin wire between two points but that was a mk4 golf gti

yea thats what i thought but mine hasnt ? just wanted to know if its supposed to be like that on the LCR so i can get another one.
