Ticking sound from glovebox

Sometimes, mainly in the mornings, and always when the ignition is at the 1st position (ie electrics on) there's a ticking noise coming from the glovebox. As it doesn't seem to happen in the evenings on the way home from work, I've assumed that it's something temperature related.

It's done this from new when the ignition is at the first position but would normally disappear once the engine was started - but not in the mornings. Now that I'm back to commuting I've noticed this more.

Any ideas what the cause of this would be and if it's something that should be sorted by the dealer under warranty?

Hmm - did a search and didn't see that thread.
Oh well seems like a common issue and not a major fault - so will leave it for now anyway, until it annoys me too much.

actuator flaps are carrying out learn procedure.

hi,
sounds like a potentiometer is noisey on the heater box. i will take a guess at the recirculation position one as this is a common one.
mention it when your next in at your dealer and they should be able to pin point which one it is and change it under the warranty.
