I have a LCR and my revs and speedo both click up and down. If you listen to them when driving you can even here them tick. Its bad on the speed as it takes a moment for them to tick back down. Has anyone else came across this problem before. Sometimes they can be smooth but not for very long and only on certain parts of the clock so I thought possibly a sensor somewhere but no code in VAG COM for them or anything, any input would be appreciated. Seems a strange one :)

They are electronic, no moving cables, so chances are the clocks are worn.

Not had the needles of for any reason ie new white dials?

No the dials have never been took apart the car has done 43000 now but this has been there for a while seems strange. May take them out and send them to someone to fix them. Think buying second hand clocks would be costly by the time the keys are re paired and mileage corrected not even sure if ya can correct the miles.
