just spotted this on the THS website

on the site it says it allows upto 20% more airflow, but i can't help noticing that the original pipe, although narrower, is taller, so theoretically if it was squashed down would be roughly the same size or is it just that the THS one more smoother internally?
i'm not looking for power gains, i'm just wanting to let the engine 'breathe' a bit better at the mo.
also would it cause any scrubbing on full lock albeit with standard wheels or larger and wider ones?
