Throttle Sensor?

Anyone know where the throttle sensor resides?
I presume this is the drive-by-wire sensor which tells the engine the throttle position and nothing to do with a throttle body alignment
Any ideas on cost and ease of DIY changing before I call the dealer?

Edit: Just to shed further light (I've done searches), my EPC light is on. It appeared a couple of months ago but I got rid by disconnecting the battery. It's come back on again and I'm sure VAG-COM said it was the 'throttle sensor' but I've read previous posts about a clutch sensor - would VAG-COM have it wrong?

Will be part of the throttle pedal itself i would have thought look on the pedal and see if there is a multiplug on it.

Hey might be a coinsidence but my car hasnt been boosing properly for a few weeks now..only boosts at 10psi too and the other day my epc light came on but that was after i fixed the clutch pedal.. could be a similar sort of problem. let me know if you have any news on what is the matter with yours
