Firstly i should say Hi, im a new member here so excuse any ignorance involved. ;)
I often search this site via google, found out alot of interesting stuff so spot on!!
Unfortunately i never found what i was looking for. My problem is once my car warms up my revs stick when coming off the throttle, holding out for approx 5 seconds, also judders. I've been to my local vw who suggested cleaning my TB which i did then reset by removing the battery. The fault is still there [:@] I had vagcom which shew a faulty throttle position sensor with EPC light on. Cleared the code and it hasnt returned but the problem persist day after day :censored: any ideas or help will be more than appreciated. Thanks

did you re-align the throttle body using vag-com, as this is the only way to align it

simple to do.
Turn car ignition on but dont start the car, Run vagcom, select engine 01, then measure blocks08, then type in 060 and press go, then once thats up click on basic settings down the bottom. The last box at the top on the right should say run or something. Wait 30 sec and click the button you clicked for basic settings again. This will be finished then. Do not start the car or touch the accelerator when ur doing this

sorry in the delay, iv been away. I reset them by removing the battery method but it didnt work, i dont hav vagcom myself but theres a local dealer who has it. The mechanic is pretty clued up and has changed throttle bodies on a3, TT, leons and i think the ibiza too. i can get a patten TB for £205, what do u think?? This is becoming a pain as nobody seem to know the exact fault, iv changed the MAF, engine temp sensor, full vw service. VAGCOM originally picked up the fault code for the throttle position sensor (EPC light on) but once the codes were cleared the light aint been on (2 months +) and the code hasnt returned. Why could this be?? And what seems more likely to be my problem? thanks for any help Ricky.
