After the new year im sorting out ALL the internals ( and rebore to 1.9L) and looking to replace my VF34 IHI with something larger ( hopfuly keeping the mani ).
I have come across THIS, whats your thoughts and also at that power ill need bigger injectors ( what size?) and another fuel pump . Anything else that you'd recamend??
If you wanna see my spec as of now see link in sigy.

nice tubby if you have to stick with ihi flanged fitment.
these as you know are available in a few different flavours of trims etc.
just dont get too hung up on the max figures, and consider you are both 2wd and road car.
these will want to flow more than the head will easily flow, with higher rpms required to justify the extra airflow these can give you. Consider valves in your build cost. these may be an investment that could save mant more ££ later on.

Valves will be done with internals ( around 3000 quid all in ) do you recamend porting the head while its off to aid flow ??

Point taken....... But id like to be on the good side of 400 and not have to max out the tubby so maybe the bigger one running at 90% so it lasts if you get my drift ( or am i being over cautious ?)

What do you think will be quicker on the road a smaller turbo running 100% or a large one running 80%.
Look who won TOTB handling this year ,a evo 5 running 400bhp beating RCM's 800bhp scooby. It's all about response.

Was thinking more about reliabilaty of the tubby but i see your point. On another point , After iv done all the internal work will i be able to put up the rev limiter and what to ?

internals has nothing to do with rev limit capability. You need the valvetrain uprated.
There both good turbo's.

to make the most of the flow potential you will need to rev a little higher yes.. and when we're talkign flow, some porting will also help flow for same boost, so turbo is not being flogged "pushing" it thru a retrictive flow path. The owens housing flow way more than the P18/20 housings so unbottle the rest of the air path and get some nice power gains.
It will want to rev if all is flowing well.

mines largeport, slightly ported (cleaned more than enlarged) and it revs to 9000rpm now with its larger turbo, manifold etc etc 4K rpm onwards it insane. (not even on full boost yet!)
