How have you fitted your cold air feed to the box and made it air tight - any pics would be much appreciated. I've done a lot of searchy searchy on this and i've seen a couple where people have hacked big holes in their airboxes, is it possible without doing this or does that restrict airflow too much?

I just cut a 100mm hole in the box and shoved a pipe in. Job done

You could get the pipe to fit around the standard intake hole. TBH mine is put inside it but after thinking about it, it mite be restrictive so i will have a play this weekend!!!

you will have to cut a bit out of the box to get your cold air feed to fit in as the intake is quite narrow. I used bostic glue to seal the box which dries like rubber so it can be bent and moved around without cracking

Mine is exactly the same as dan's just smoothed inside aswell, the only thing i never done was fully seal the box on the outside just stuck heavy duty tape around the pipe and box

Does fully sealing it make a difference ?

its a 104mm cold air feed, so i made the standard cold air feed hole bigger and bigger untill i could squeeze the 104mm cold air feed in, this way that alone made it air tight.

next i removed a couple of the metal rings in the feed and then cut slits every inch or so in the material and then glue gunned the material to the airbox and also used a few screws here and there on the metal rings so the feed was more secure.

works a treat! :)
