have not detailed my car yet but should be doing it next weekend,it will be my first
real detailing iv done on a car and cant wait to see how it looks.
products im going to use are.

p21s bodywork shampoo
p21s paintwork cleanser
p21s carnauba wax
p21s wheel cleaner kit
poorboys ex sealant
clearkote red moose machine glaze
meguiars Quik clay detailing system
microfiber cloths

if anyone knows of good tips let me know
i got all the items from www.detailedobsession.co.uk and i couldnt rate them more!
so helpfull,i made two orders with them and they both got here nextday!

Will look nice, but.....

I don't rate the P21s wax, its not that durable and better waxes can be bought for similar money.

But will still look ace.

yeah should look good im going to take my time doing it and not rush it!

as for the wax reason i got it was read some reviews some were on the net
and people really rate it! will have to see how it goes.

I also consider P21s to be pretty darn poor wax. Looks average, very easy to use but durability is rubbish. Weekly wax required

Only put the Poorboys on really thinly or its an utter bugger to remove, and certainly don't use it in sunlight. Trust me, I made this mistake and it was hideous!

what wax would you say is best?

also how long it lasts dont bother me as my car gets waxed every week anyways

i will have to use the p21s wax first,if im not happy with it i will give the Victoria Concours a try!

i use poorboys natty blue and its gives a nice deep wet finish, only thing i dont like about it is that it tends to mute the flake popping in the paintwork, so i have invested in some zymol carbon, but for 14 quid canny get any better than the poorboys according to detailing world

For the money, Chemical Guys XXX Hardcore paste wax gives a better finish than Natty's, especially for £12.95 a tub. Or CG 'Petes 53' is also supposed to be very good, althouth I've not tried it myself.
