in the summer i had to replace the gearbox as it was destroyed lol... so i got a second hand gear box which lasted all of 5 months before it died.

i left the garage looking for another one (cheap one) and also went searching scrap yards etc. etc. in the area and nothing and after like 7weeks ive decided to get shot and get something newer.

(i get my c5 audi a6 next week)

anayway is it worth breaking the mk2 for parts everything is in ok condidtion (other than the gear box)

or sell it minus the gear box

or just scrap it??

im still thinking at the moment nothing is for sale at present what to see what people think

also what is worth selling etc. the car is still at the garage so cant start selling bits for a few weeks

im basically looking for advice on whats worth breaking and selling (i know condition plays a part) but i dont wanna spend time takingbits a part that no one ill ever want

Definately worth breaking the whole car, just offer everything up. Most parts will go really quickly. Then the odds and sods left over just offer for free or dirt cheap.

i dunno mines a 96 'P' and it fits fine but i know they changed the lights and some other stuff i think from what people have said is just to offere everything and break by request

like have one ebay or scn listing and take requests.
