Not a question, but I just wanted to point out that today, in a queue of traffic, the most common car in the half-mile long queue as far as I could tell was the Mk1 Leon :funk: Of course there were more Fords and Vauxhalls, but they were of various models, but there were three Leons; my LCR, one 20VT and one that looked like a 1.4 or 1.6. No other model made more than a total of 2 cars in the queue.

Never thought I'd see the day when there would be more mk1 Leon's on the road than any other.

What also made me chuckle, was that while I was waiting to turn on to the road at traffic lights, the first Leon turned on ahead of me, followed immediately by a Mk4 Golf, and then a Mk1 Octavia

Did a couple of minicab jobs for a friends business when they were stuck.
In my mk2 Golf gti three door as well,
think a couple of the oldies thought they were on a roller coaster Ha!

I bought my leon as I thought there were better looking and less understated than the Golf or A3 and at the time didn't see them very often, now I have one, I see them EVERYWHERE! Maybe its I just notice their brilliance even more?

Before we bought our Platinum 1.6S, I'd never seen one in that colour before.

Now, every bloody Leon on the road seems to be Platinum...............

When the wife was looking for a new car I suggested the Leon, rather than the Astra she was tempted by. She replied "a say-at what?" I showed her some photos online and she was intrigued. She'd only ever owned a 1.0 Mk3 Fiesta and a 1.2 106 (facelift) so the Leon was an enormous improvement. Willoughby Seat in Chilwell, Notts, let her take it for a test drive without a salesman, unlike the Vauxhall dealership. She got back and bought the demo car there and then. That was in 2005 and you're all right, we started to see a lot more Leon's on the road, but yesterday I saw an unusual amount of Seat's full stop. Ibizas, Alteas, Mk2 Leons, even a couple of Mk3 Toledos (haven't seen one of those for ages) and then three Mk1 Leons on the same short stretch of road (that I could see, there may have been more). One red, one silver and my black one.

Of course, when I got home I saw two Leon's on our street; a platinum 1.4S and a black LCR210 :D

Like mine!

I don't see them around that often. Mk IV Golfs are everywhere though. Why have one of those when you could have bought a Leon??

That why I brought my last car (Saab) as I thought it was different and did not see many yet after buying nearly every car I saw was a Saab, I guess you tend to look out for a car more once you own one.
