It's amazing how quickly you get used to a car's performance and how quickly it starts to feel err..slow. lol
I wonder if it's the same for porsche and ferrari owners

I might start using the micra more often. It'll keep me from thinking that i need to go BIG turbo. Lol. Saving me £££££'s

tell me about it.

I have a remapped 90bhp TDI golf for during the week... and jump into the S3 at the weekend... it feels soooo fast in comparison, too fast infact.. that on saturday I got a 3 points £60 fine for doing 87MPH on motorway :( just because I was getting a little carried away at actually being able to pass a few cars and not have to sit in tight behind them

P.S. I know a mapped S3 is not a fast car.. but it is compared to a mapped 90BHP golf

my LC has been in since monday - fair dos the garage gave me a 57 1.6 leon to run around in . A few miles away from the garage i was wondering if there was a fault with the accelarator ! - I put this down to being spoilt with 185 bhp in my usual car. New leon is a tidy motor, very quiet but a little characterless.
can't wait to get the old one back

I've taken my car in and had a new shape 1.6 Leon for a day. Not only was it slow as fk but the ride height made me feel like I was driving a people carrier. When I got back in my LCR it was like getting into a racing car!!

My work van is a Vauxhall Combo 1.3 CDTi with about 60bhp. A 1.3 diesel is what you need to make your LC or LCR feel dangerously fast!

same as people, before my leon tdi 110 i used to have a vtr which when i got i thought was quick, then i got the leon which was a little quicker and loving it, but had it mapped last week and everytime i get in it, i love it, seems very much more quicker obviously lol, then this morning i had to drive my mums car and it felt like no power as no turbo:censored:, then drove mine and felt like a rocket lol

lol, as a 1.6 owner, that's how I feel every day. Not the racing car, mind - the people carrier.

Actually. Maybe I should offer it as a service. Anyone want me to make their car feel 100BHP faster?

Borrow my car for a day :p

Surely a decent swap ;)

My LCR is a bit sick at the moment so it is sat on the drive and i will be driving the wifes 1.9d (non turbo) 306 i think it does 0-60 in a ground shattering 15 seconds. It feels extremely slow to the point i checked the mat wasnt underneath the gogo pedal, the worst is yet to come everytime i come up to a junction i feel like i am gonna ram the car infront those brakes suck yet it has just sailed through the mot. Just goes to show what you get used to, so when i get back in the lcr i will be i will be nailed to the seat upon acceleration and i will be going through the windscreen at every junction

i cant wait woot woot.

I was out in a hire car for work for about 4 weeks before and never got to get in the cupra at all, and after four weeks of driving a vauxhall zafira i jumped back into the cupra and nearly put it in the hedge at the end of the driveway! Fortunately i didnt, and the driving the car after reminded me why I brought it!
