The Ibiza Fr Misfire - How To Make It Stop

Firstly this is my first thread and I'm a little new to this so if it's in the wrong section i apologize.

I have had my Ibiza FR 130 for around 5 month, the misfire problem was present from purchase but I have been told by the dealer it was my driving habit to blame. I have tried various products to try and help 'Forte engine flush' and 'Millers' but the results were either nothing or worse. So after reading various threads on various websites all referring to EGR valves, Skoda's with the same fault etc etc. I figured the solution was not going to come around anytime soon. I whittled certain factors down which would improve it, and the only thing that seems to work for me is fuel! I have spent the last 4 months trying various fuels including all high and normal grade diesel. The last fuel I tried was Shell standard diesel and for 1 month now I have had a total of 3 minor misfires, when before that would have been 3 per day. This could be old news to everyone but I felt this info needed sharing. I'm also in the process of trying to solve the windy door syndrome but not getting too far with that!

I know where did he learn to drive! I take it to Bury as it's the nearest by miles I think the next one to me is in Preston. I'm happy at the moment as it hardly ever misfires anymore with shell fuel I can't be bothered with the excuses and time wasting, if it got any worse then I'd go and see another dealer I think.
