the difference between the engine in 08 & 09

hi i will bay a 09 leon fr but is there is a diffrent between the 08 & 09 in the engine??
i have now 07 fr but it is very poor and i have many proplem in it so i will change it to 09

what is the nice coler white or red??????

No difference, probably slightly revised programming of the ecu but other than that - no difference

Facelifted leon fr has more power than non facelift.

did they modify the fuel pump pulley on the later engine, or was that an earlier revision.

something to do with the fuel pump pulley wearing too much. they apparently correct this problem with a hardened fuel pump pulley to slow the wear on the part.
