The Deal Negotiator - opinions?

Hey,

Just got a quote from the Deal Negotiator today for an FR TDI, with metallic paint, 18" wheels, convenience pack, bluetooth and winter pack for just over £17080 - sounds like a good price to me, what do the rest of you think? And has anyone had any dealings with the Deal Negotiator before - good or bad?

hi, had a quote off them and they were 350 cheaper than direct seat but offered me 1000 pounds less for my st3, so went with direct seat.
have heard they are pretty good tho as the car is sourced from a uk dealer,
they were about the cheapest i could find, im sure there are people on here who have used them.

I've had good dealings with them, ordered my Leon through them and it's still on track for March 1st. Got my FR Tdi in Red with 18"s for £16149.

They seem to be very straight-forward, no B-S. I've been dealing with a guy named Matthew Woods, he's been very helpful. It's the best quote I got from anywhere, and also it's a proper SEAT dealership so no worries there! It's the online arm of the Sidlow group - they also do Saabs and VWs i think.....

Yeah, i think that was the guy i spoke to yesterday, i'm just waiting for them to get back to me with a p/x valuation - the only downside for me is the fact that its about 240miles away..

Stuart - was your car a factory order or was it already made? When did you order it? The guy i spoke to yesterday said the lead time was approx 8-12 weeks, pretty much what i anticipated

Got my FR TFSI through Deal Negotiator/Matthew Woods last year, and all went smoothly. Matthew answered my emails and was easy to speak to on phone. Cheapest deal I could find (no p/x).

Have you tried "broadspeed.com"? I used them did a better deal by £1300 than local dealer. You fill out the online form then a Seat dealership contacts you with a deal. The dealer was listers/coventry for me. What I did was then phone my local dealer who previously wouldn`t budge on price who matched it

I got a 2.0 TFSI FR off these boys last year for a very very good price. Much less than you've quoted.

They were great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Personally i wouldn't touch him again, thier are a couple of use who have purchased from him or are purchasing from him

He is very sub standard recently not keeping the customer informed or messing orders up changing his mind have a look at my thread to be honest for im regreting not paying the extra and going else where

To be honest he is very helpfull to get your buisness but as soon as he has that deposit i found it went down hill very quickly Moved delivery dates without notification, un happy to answer questions or respond in a timely manner.

Suppose its ok if you want to chase him every 5 minutes and do his job for him, just beware if you have anythink complex even a tank of diesel

Yep - Simon dealt with my purchase - matched deal negotiator quote and everythng went smoothly....

Also, I have had to go back to the dealer several times to address small build quality issues - all dealt with promptly - can dealnegotiator offer this level of service??????? I think not.
