Right i have a 2.0 8v AGG and i am wondering if anyone knows what the black box ontop of the rocker cover is? it has two pipes coming from it. I think IMO that its some sort of oil breather but im looking for confirmation.

Thanks,

Chris

Is that a good 0-60 for the 8v? i know its never going to win any prizes for its speed but that sounds about right to me?

meant to be 9.4 so its not bad for 116k on clock. + decat and induction kit. i want it superchipping to 132hp so it will be 0-60 in 8.6 seconds :D

The black box is a cover, the pipes that go into it only just literally go under the cover as there is a seperate piece under it. The piece going into it is £14.00 as i've replaced mine.

Yes it DOES effect fuel economy and while your at it might be a good idea to clean the lot out

How do you remove the box? Ive undone the screws before but the box was still stuck fast? Do i have to give it a good tug?

if it has 130hp its the same power maybe more than the 1.8 16v which is 8.6 seconds, standard 2.0 8v is 9.4 seconds with 115hp, and the 2.0 16v is 7.6 @ 150hp
