The battle to stiffen my car up!

Right well I currently have FK Highsport coilovers but I am still not happy with the amount of bodyroll. So I have bought all these bits to try and make it like a train around corners [B)]

OMP front and rear strut braces
Neuspeed front anti-roll bar
Powerflex bushes for front wishbones

But then its never easy when nobody makes specific parts for my god damn 1.4 so:

Front strut brace

Is it safe to sheer this off?

Rear Strut brace

Is it safe to angle grind these bits of each side? They don't seem to have a function or am I wrong?

Any help would be appreciated :)

With the front brace you could open up the hole (make it bigger) so it will fit over the thread, saves you sheering it off. Knowing luck if you sheer if off it cause problems in the future or something, it's easier to file away or re drill the hole on the strut brace.

I was going to say if it's too low it will be softer anyway

ARB's are the way forward, that will make the tyres work.

yes.

and probably handle better as the wishbones will be closer to level.
Lower isn't always 'better'

i'm going to raise my car about 25mm aswell, i feel the fk's get softer the lower down they are, which is annoying as its starting to rub more.
do u recommend geting ARB's ?

ARB's let the spring & dampers do their job

Springs & dampers aren't meant for roll control

I'll be making an adjustment to the right hight on mine, mainly becuase the car will be laden up and roads on the continent (read belgium) are shite

Shame tho, the stance at the moment visually looks spot on
