temp gauge

hi i wonderd if any one can help,my temp gauge on the dash stays at 60 then sometimes goes to 90 then back to 60 anyone know whats up also im not sure if the elec fans are working there is a buzzing noise that stays on for about 5mins when car stops but fans arnt going round.any help be great its a 2001 cupra ibiza

buzzing noise will be the water pump working

mine did that turned out that the thermostat wasnt working properlyey. It was staying open. Replaced it and now its fine!

could it be the temp sender?

Had the same problem. Thermostat was stuck open, £3 later and jobs a good'un.
