temerature sensors wrong

the car is reading -30' degrees outside and its baking hot so what could this be guys, its annoying as my window packed up same day and reading so low i have no ac, please help im dying, daz

yep as Jking says, its the temp sensor in the wing mirror, needs replacing, dead common prob on the Mk3.

yeap i bought the small temp loom last week from Seat, its about £13 fro memory.

I brought a temp sensor from maplin, 99p and it reads the correct temp etc, saves quite a bit of dosh
