Well i placed a fairly large order for parts with them on around 10/09/2007, i recieved nothing then a few days later i rang up and was told my parts had been sent, well nothing came and i rang back once more to be told that my parts hadn't been sent, they weren't even at the dealership, eventually the parts came, however about half of the parts where incorrect, fair enough, i sent the majority of them back and they were replaced.....with yet more incorrect parts, so back they went again.

3rd time lucky (well nearly) most of the parts were correct, other then 2 pieces of interior trim. Back they went...

I was told to expect the parts a mere 3 days later, yet 2 weeks later i still have nothing (i waited this long because of the postal strike), i ring up to find out whats happened, to be told that they haven't even sent the part out.

Eventually 4 days after calling the parts come, however yet again for the 4th time running one of them is wrong!!!

How hard can it be to order parts, they have my VIN number, they know what part i need, yet it's still wrong!

It's only a cheap part, yet i must of paid for it twice over now in the amount of postal chargers i've had to spend sending it back!

So i've been waiting the best part of 6/7 weeks for a bit of plastic

Rant over

Hi

Tristan is away from work until Friday, please contact him by phone. It may seem that the parts ordering system is easy with a chassis number but believe me it still can have errors on the parts online catalog particularly with trim components, wrong colours, left hand drive trims packed in right hand drive packaging.
Usually the mechanical components are correct by chassis number on the electronic parts catalog and give us no problems but trims can be a different matter.
Anyone who fancies a day working in our parts department are more than welcome, it will be a eyeopener to the complexities and variables even by chassis number!
We do endeavor to provide a first time correct supply, what our parts customers may not realize is that we can not return parts to SEAT if they have a retail value less than thirty pounds, this means that any returned items under this value usually end up sitting on our parts department shelf for years and years.
So not only is it good for our customers that we supply correct first time it is also commercially prudent.

Regards & hope Tristan sorts it Friday
