Putting on fabia rear, but for life of me i cant get the rear jet and nut cover off, cant go yanking it too hard as dont want to damage the spindle new one will sit on

ive heard people say it just slides off by pushing towards to wiper-does it f*ck
cant lift it off
pabs' site just says remove

god this car is pissing me off now
everything is a nightmare

anybody have any other suggestions or definite ways of removing it before i just give up

ok sorted it

mod, this can be deleted if you want

but for others ref, what it was-;

the metal arm at the base of the new wiper wasnt fully flush on the spindle, the side nearest the wiper was slightly up, so when the motor was turning it wasnt catching the wiper properly

Was it just me that looked at the thread title and thought it was a dodgy follow on from the 'best behind' thread? :redface:
