Tdi problems'What do these Diagnostic codes mean?

Hi there and merry xmas people,

I have a 1.9 tdi leon and had it remapped but the cars lost loads of power so ive done a diagonotic on it adn its given me the following problems:

Codes
17969/ P 1561: Quantity Adjuster Deviation
17552/ P 1144: Mass /volume Air Flow circ open/ short to ground
17971/P 1563 Quantity Adjuster Lower limits Attained

Ill be honest i havent a clue and where do i start eith these probles, i knwe the Maf was going to be a issue but what does the others mean?

you have a MAF fault, not neccesarily a faulty MAF, it could be a shorted or broken wire, I guess you need to try a substitute first to find out which, If it runs better I would clear the other codes and run for a while and re check for them, they may well not re=occure

open/short means either a broken wire, or the MAF plug is not shoved in far enough to make a connection. Check the MAF plumbing, especially the wiring and if it's all OK I'd recommend getting a new MAF.
