I never seem to see any leon cupra tdi's for sale either on ebay or on this site,is that because they are scarce or is it becauce they are so good no one wants to sell them  :bleh:

I think it's a bit of both, autotrader regularly have the 110 and 130 for sale but only the occasional 150. Don't know about you but I aint getting rid of mine any time soon.

and another one not for sale [B)]

brilliant motor... so cheap to run & looks the nuts imo. No end of people comment on what a nice car it is

Got to be one of the best kept secrets out there.... if only it had 4WD in this weather.

For my 2p's worth I think the new Leon's done what the 307 did to the 306 and killed the legend...

Whats the views on residuals for the Cupra TDI's? Looking at the prices on Autotrader they seem to be holding strong (a VAG PD trait I'm sure)

FR TDis are even rarer lol

and sh!t loadsa money now!!!

Spotted one on e-bay last week, bidding started at £16,595

the last ones were going from dealers at £14 something, +on-the-road and extras!!

guess it's what people will pay to get a piece of heritage.

indeed the PDi cupra/FR is a best kept secret, bit like a stealth plane, everyone knows they exist, but don't know what they can do

In Belgium the cupra tdi was a 4wd [B)] . A friend of mine had one...full option with recaro seats etc.

Theres 3 more of them in my staff car park, mine is the only 55 plate with lovely wheels though. Have to admit, that when I was looking, I only found 3 of em on the second hand market and at near enough the price I paid for mine new.

Out of all the cars I have owned in since 53 plate (MR2 Roadster, Celica, ST170) this is by far the best, very quick, very economical, and sporty yet not in your face.

Anyone else seem to have golf GTI's wanting to play or is it just me?

no MKV GTI's (yet  - wouldnt fancy the Cupra TDi in standard spec tho surely?! GTI's bit lighter on its toes isnt it..) few little plays with chimps in Civic Type R's, Cooper S & 172's always fun. [B)]

Hope you all found the certificate on the back of the car, detailing your obligation to unleash the fury on the Burburry Underclass... its just on the right hand side of the tailgate.... yep!! "Cupra TDi " :D

Best kept secret by far; I won't be getting rid of mine in a hurry - unfortunately got to do 120,000 miles before I can change - wish I could garage it for a time and see what it would fetch in 5 years time with exceptionally low mileage / pristine condition.

i'm a real fussy git when it comes to cars, i would like,
Platinum 150 PDi FR with Cupra R bodykit and wheels (05 run out spec)
must have, leather. rain sensing wipers, auto headlights/mirrors, and preferably satnav

preferably stock item, so i can do my own mods, but will accept Revo/exhaust etc.....

oh, and an Ovni beeza, pref 130 PDi (FR) but that will depend on whether they still make them in 2007 when the SX is up for change...

Virtually all the FR's I have looked at have smart nav, I just upgraded to a 55 black FR TDI with cupra R body kit with 500 miles on for 13995. Can't get it until Dec 24th though :(

hehe, yeah it will be but the wait is killing me, its a demo so it's literally sitting gathering dust at the stealers until Seat agree to release it for sale. They are being very stubborn and sticking to the original date despite much begging.
