TDI Juddering under boost? Urgent help please

Hi guys, Friend has a TDI which has been remapped.. Can anyone explain to why in every gear at certain RPM the engine shudders when coming onto boost? It doesn't last for every long till it runs perfect again?


Almost feels like it's fueling issues.. I've got VagCom which is showing 3 faults,

01039 - Coolant Temperature Sensor (G2)
64-10 - Not Currently Testable - Intermittent
01039 - Coolant Temperature Sensor (G2)
30-10 - Open or Short to B+ - Intermittent
00562 - Sensor for Oil Level/Temperature (G266)
30-00 - Open or Short to B+


Would any of these cause an issue like this?

Are there any checks I should be monitoring on VagCom to make sure all sensors are working?

The car is a 130bhp Bora TDI

Log the boost and MAF and see what its doing :-

I would get a new coolant temp sensor in then clear the codes and scan again first though.

i have the same issue with my 06 set leon tdi (110 PD) it happens at 2250rpm and the car judders but when its past this rpm its fine, feels like its only firing on 3 cylinders, done some research and its something to do with the resonance of the flywheel. if you have any joy let us know as its getting on my nerves.
