TDI FR 150 which rear brake calipers?

Hi,

Need to order some new calipers and carrier for my 2005 TDI FR 150.

All the parts suppliers online quote PR codes, and none of them match the ones in my car. I downloaded the PR list and none of my PR codes even relate to brakes...

Any one know what parts I need, or how to find out?

Hi mate. Welcome to the forum.

According to elsawin, your 1.9TDI 150bhp (110kw) came with the FN-3 calipers at the front with 288mm discs.
The rears are Lucas/TRW calipers and they have 232mm discs.

If you can wait a few days (because he's on holiday until sept 2nd) then Dave@sere motors (link to his contact info below) will not only be able to confirm that that's the correct ones from your VIN number, but will no doubt be able to post them to you for quite a lot less than they would cost from your local dealership too.

If you search for calipers/pads for 232mm solid disc then you should get the info you require.
The FR TDI 150 has the solid rear disc at 232mm diameter

All the rear brake calipers are the same if it's got solid 232mm discs so even the ones from the mk4 Golf, Audi A3 and Skoda Octavia of the same era will fit straight on.

I had the same problem, no where does it state if it is a 38mm or 41mm piston ftted to the car (2004 Cupra TDi). Only way was when I took the old one off, it was 38mm
