Tdi Cupra Ballast locations

Alright guys,

Looking for a bit of info regarding where people have put the ballasts from their HID kits. I have had a look and can honestly say i have no idea where to put them.

Currently waiting on new lamp units under warranty so will be fitting them after i get the lamps replaced.

I have done a search but all i seem to have found is info regarding fitting HID's to leons.

most just attach them just behind the headlight, some one did put one in the battery box but think that was a petrol

put my driver side one by the wing, very painful! the passenger side one is still in front of the battery as I have no idea where to put it and I can't be arsed at the mo its still too cold to be fiddling about!

Aimez, you dont happen to have any pics of your install do you?

St i'd love if my engine bay had that much room. Where there fitted on that yellow one is where the fuel filter is on the diesel.

no I don't' could get some bit dark now though, but like I say the one by the wing was very tough to put in place.
I need to tidy it all up but will leave it untill the weather a bit better. I was so nackered after installing them as it killed my back fiddling around trying to put them somewhere in freezing rain! The main problem I've got with the one on the battery side is that I have used a battery harnesss to power mine and make them safer and the wire is too short that end!
