Went to drive my car the other day, got in it as normal put the key in the ignition then waited for the lights to go out. All of the normal ones such as glow plugs abs etc did, but the traction control light stayed on.
I tried pressing the TCS button but nothing happened so i then tried to start the car with the light still on. The car attempted to turn over but just wouldnt start. Removal of the key then placing it back into the ignition turned all normal lights off including the TCS light and the car started perfectly fine.
Seriously confused on what the TCS light has to do with starting the car. Any idea's?
(also the car was scanned and has no error codes. I have recently replaced my crankshaft position sensor in attempt to remove code PO727 which has worked so far)
