Cars just come back from Seat Dealer after having door seal warranty fixes. They also removed carpet etc as I wanted it properly dried.

Tried to open my filler cap cover today (with the button) and it wouldnt release. Oh crap ! Before I went hunting for fuses etc, I pressed the TCS button and the filler cap released. Then found when driving it later, if I press the Fuel button, the TCS disables................wat a laff they've wired the switches the wrong way round !!!!

Cheers garage, doesnt look like a 2 min job (unless anyone knows otherwise) so its back there next week !!!

Glad I didnt pay for the work !!!!

Idiots!
Prob just need to pop the buttons out and change the connectors over! Just a pure guess. Never heard of or had to do this myself! otherwise, pop in to your garage and call them everyname under the sun for making a stupid mistake!

Yep -was an easy job -- but now the fuel button isnlt illuminated (the TCS one is now) - so maybe the swap has blown something.

I'll swap them to as they were, tell the dealer to sort it out and then show them the fuel switch not lit.

Dealers - they're more trouble than they're worth
