Hi there...

Im fitting a Taurus T123 reversing aid to my Cupra R this weekend (too many near misses)

I know that some of you have fitted these and I was after some fitting advice. The instructions state that the magnetic strip should be 50cm off the ground,a certain distance from crash rails etc etc, where on the inside of the bumper did you put the magnetic strip, to my way of thinking this should be as far back as possible? Where did you put the control unit (was hoping to get this inside the car) where did u route the cable that goes between the strip and the control unit? Also where did u tap into the live for the reverse lights, im guessing these should run in the boot somewhere behind the side panels?

Im pretty good with things like this, im just after some pointers to clarify things.

Cheers, Matt

In my last car i fitted a reversing camera with a 3" colour screen. Cost me about £80 all in and worked great. No annoying beeps, just a good clear image of whats behind you.
Contemplating it with the Leon, but not decided yet.
