Tail & Brake Lights

Hi,

Can someone help me? This should be an easy job, but I can't work out how to change tail and brake light bulbs in my wife's Toledo...

The bulb holders are fixed fast, and there does not seem to be any clip to remove the shrouds...and there's no instructions in the Manual!!

Any help would be appreciated

Just had to do this recently myself.
1/ Take off inspection panel inside boot and look in.
2/ There should be a large plastic knob, which is a retaining bolt. Undo this, it is held in place by a rubber strap thing that can stop it from falling into the debths of the panel but it can get caught up while you are loosining it.
3/ Undo the two hex bolts at the edge of the boot
4/ remove light unit completely
5/ Buld holder for brake and tail light hold one P21w bulb for both jobs. It is held in place by two phillips screws, Undo and remove bulb
6/ Replace bulb as normal and then reverse the process.

I actually found the instructions within the manual when I looked again last night!!

I got the bulbs chanegd ok.

Had to do this myself today. Quite handy, still a bit stupid to take whole unit out,but simple non-the-less.
