Switchable Chip....???

So... I got one... 44K Black.. £5K.. absolute minter.. totally standard.. nice!

I'm after a switchable remap... I would like to be able to switch between standard and remapped... ideally from one of the OEM switchs... (stalk?)

Does anyone do this... is it possible??

revo u change from standard to remap using the SPS3 but its pricey. Alternatively buy another ECU and just unplug one and plug into the other one. Not sure if theres any other way

yes but not by using any oem switches

Revo can but you need an SPS unit at extra cost
Custom code, i believe if you have a laptop with vagcom software and cable you can do it
not 100% sure but apr do something with a cruise control stalk and it can be disabled with this, but not sure

revo can be switched via sps 1/2/3 (cheapest is one most expensive is 3) check the classifieds and www.revotechnik.com for info

apr can be switched via a VAG OEM cruise control stalk that can be fitted at extra cost, try www.awesomegti.co.uk and www.goapr.com

custom code can be swicthed back to stock through their custom settings program www.custom-code.co.uk

jabbasport use a manual boost controller, again fitted at extra cost to bring you back to stock performance as and when required www.jabbasport.com

i think thats it as far as DIY to stock goes, most tuners can flash back to stock but this would require you going back to them and probably paying an fee
